Even if she doesn't run -- which I don't expect her to do -- she's going to be a distraction through the 2012 campaign.

Candidates up and down the ballot will be asked their opinions of her, which they won't want to give for fear of turning off one constituency or another depending on their answer.

And, having her campaign or raise money for you will also come with a downside.

Rep Clyburn looking to avoid TSA airport security lines. Seems a tad opportunistic at this point in time:

Why, yes, it is all about her, all the time. You didn't get the memo? You want the "benefits" she provides, you have to deal with the whole package. Have fun!

Is Moe Lane an utter simpleton, or does he only portray one in his legislative role?

This is so idiotic. Talk about thinking only about yourself.

This guy wants to use a tragedy to speed up his time getting through the airport:

I think most politicians are in it for the right reason.

I think that Sarah Palin thinks she's a contestant on a "Truman Show"-style "American Idol" competition.

Let me see if I've got this straight...

After spending God knows how many of millions of dollars beefing up airport security over the last decade, an airport is the place this guy feels the least safe in?

A real man of the people. It might prove to less safe for them as they by pass their constituents in a nice 1 hour TSA line.

Palin isn't the exception, she's the rule. I think very few are in it for the right reason.

She just does a poor job of hiding it compared to the rest.

Most of them are deep thinkers with a strong interest in public policy. The sideshow theatrics, which I hate, are unfortunately the price of admission.

I guess we can agree to disagree.

The fact that it was widely reported that she opened her eyes on Sunday detracts from it quite a bit.
