    Another video from Jared:

I can't see him ever getting the death penalty.

I think he qualifies for the death penalty. Even if he is mentally unstable, the question is whether he can understand the difference between right and wrong. Given the fact that he planned the murders in advance, I believe Loughner knows the difference.

The Pubes cornered the hate/fear electioneering market with Nixon, and while the keys have changed occasionally, the song remains the same.

Among those who's thoughts on the matter I did not need hear, Mark Rudd, founder of the Weather Underground.

Why would the Washington Post even bother to give this guy a forum?

Maybe cause the WaPo wanted to bait people into driving up their clicks? Not that you did that. Nope, not at all.

I'd also like to hear from Bill Ayers. The Weatherman group is the counter point to those who suggest that The Tea Party is the first radical group to show hostility toward the Federal Government.

The Che thing cracks me up. I remember many of my era walking around with their Che shirts and pins with little idea of who Che even was. It made them look hip though.

I think anybody with even a tiny sense of U.S. history realizes that a lot of the hostility came from the left in the first half of the 20th century, in particular, in the form of radical leftist and Communist movements. Aiming that hostility toward the institution of the federal government is primarily a right thing, because the right is the side that counts as a core principle a weak federal government and strong state and local governments. The left hostility seemed more aimed at the economic system, right?
