I admire the effort, Hustle, even those the execution of the package failed. I can never fault someone for trying something new. Lord knows several of my ideas have failed as well. Live and learn.

If you're going to box a centerpiece, you don't need the ruleline below it.

    or next to it.

  7. Maybe this isn't a hard and fast rule but I really prefer to see the last line of the cutlines even with the last line of the text. Otherwise, the photos look like they're floating.

And someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but a general rule with multiple photos in a package is your second photo should be roughly half of the size of the first and so on so on .. it defeats the purpose to have two photos the same size next to each other.

Yes, there should be some sort of uniform proportion.

Agreed. The way it was taught to me was:

Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear.

I'm not exactly sure why you keep posting these pages. I don't have the problem with news pages that others do, but at least have some variety in what you post. These pages are basically the same.

  12. Agree. I liked the first thread better was it was a daily discussion of sports pages from around the country. It helped to see what other people were doing and also what people on this board liked/didn't like.

Coming on here every day and seeing basically the same news pages posted over and over isn't helping much.

I will try to figure out how to make a JPEG of some of my pages at work this week and maybe take a crack at posting a few just to liven up the discussion.
