Seriously...why the need for the cheap shot? We know. You think all designers are idiots.

So why do you come on a design thread?

Go stir shit elsewhere, please, and let those of us who are trying to get better continue to try to get better.

How come no one has posted a new page to critique lately?

Nuff with the bickering and get on with the constructive design thread, please? :)

There were two new pages posted today. They were just about three pages ago.

I dunno. Could this--[IMG]--really measure up to a bar code? ::)

Wouldn't the subhead on that look better in straight black, maybe even with a white outline? When it gets to "Bowl XL win: P. 103 it's on a fairly light background.

Oh, and I had the big ad on the bottom. I know, I know, nothing you can do about it. Still hate it.

What's the consensus on the featurey treatments some papers give to gamers? Seems like this type of play should be reserved for features. Here are a couple examples.

I think the bottom page nees to use "Super Bowl" in display type a few dozen more times.

Newspapers have gotten very weak with their display type. Very weak.

Well, I'll put my neck out there. Discuss. Pages 6-7 of 11 SB pages.
