Dude, I realize you embrace the pro-design environment that is much like the bad part of today's education system. Everyone wins; there's no holding back anyone. All ideas are good; no ideas are bad.

But you are the one who said 95 percent of people would embrace the design example cited here. I didn't push you into uttering that bullshit.

Now I'm asking you to back it up. Obviously you can't. There's no harm in that.

But just admit it. Just say: "I'm a liar and I know it. I know it is utterly ridiculous to say 95 percent of readership buys the newspaper only for design."

Then to make yourself feel better about being caught in a Hitler-type lie, just blame someone else. There are all kinds of design idiots right now saying the same thing. Just blame one of them.

It's so easy, man. Just admit the lie. You'll be better than Nixon. Better than Clinton.

I'd like one name - just one - of a designer who thinks all design is good and that there are no bad ideas. I've yet to meet one.

I don't see a name there. You're so big on having hardcore facts to back up claims, surely you wouldn't throw out a generalization such as all designers think "all ideas are good, none are bad" and not have one name to back it up.
