No -- now I've moved on to waiting for the Lincoln-Douglas-quality debate to start. Let's hear it.

    Dude, lighten up.
It's a learning thread. What's good. What's bad. It's not the first page that hasn't been liked. No one is calling that designer garbage. Just the page. Which it is.

And it can lead others to not do it.

People have posted their own pages on it and the page wasn't necessarily the best. But, they learned from it.

    You should too.

And in going back to check the responses to that page, you were the first one to use the term garbage.

Someone said they didn't like it. Someone said AAACCCCKKK!!

That's hardly calling it garbage. There have been worse responses to pages on this thread than that. And no one took it personal.

You really do need to lighten up some.

    Dude, he edited his post.

And I post my pages on NPD, anyone there can give any negative feedback they want... they just have to attach their name to it.

You're WAY too hung up on that. Would attaching one's name to it make it easier for the bad person to be hunted down and lynched?

Except that Wordhawk dude who is forever off his meds. No one should have to endure that.

I got on here late and didn't see the offending post. A thousand apologies oh mighty one.

The point still remains you are too hung up on the anonymous negative response. Look at the main board, people get called names worse than garbage and it doesnt cause the response you gave.

Yeah a couple of my pages have been Wordhawked. I find that more amusing than anything else. Ask schneider about him.

And the anonymous thing only bugs me when it's attacking a person's work instead of constructive criticism.

Well darn, I thought I was gonna be the only one to get racked on this thread.

Anyhoo....Nobody reads those drive chart graphics, and certainly not at that size. The play-by-play text is fine, but a smaller size for it would be good, and having each team's plays-yards-result breakout as boxes would be good, too. The rail is a nice presentation, but could use some reverse text bars, in my opinion.

And the Herald package was very eye-catching.

oh well, i rest my case and will let the thread get back on track. back to watching the guy who started the DMN thread make an ass of himself.

    ::)

Back to the topic at hand, I was not crazy on the drive charts page. A whole lot of info, with nothing really drawing me in. It's an agate page, and not a good-looking one.

The Herald front, however, was very well done.
