Well, after all, too many people have died for her.

How many times has Joe Arpaio been called a thug on here? How many thread titles labeling him as such?

    Stunning news:

    http://www.wxyz.com/news/story/Dispatcher-Cops-Said-Cox-Was-at-Manoogian/In_1QZozEUaUiNtZ7i2oqw.cspx

Cox, of course, is currently running for governor on a "law-and-order" / "family values" platform. ::)

For those unfamiliar with Michigan governmental hijinks, Cox has already tearfully confessed to an extramarital sexual affair (he was about to be outed). But he has promised to never do it again!!

    :D :D :D

His alibis are profound: He's a respected politician!! He respects the law and believes in monogamy!!! Why in the world would he be at a party with strippers and drugs! Why, it's absurd!

Plus, as he's infamously said, the party was AN URBAN LEGEND.

Surrrrre it was an urban legend. Yes, Mr. Cox, we believe you. Surrre we do.

Nothing like that anvil around your neck as you run for governor.

If all of Cox's possible opponents aren't busy stitching together YouTube commercials featuring Carolyn Cheeks-Kilpatrick yowling about "yaw's boy" and "too many people have died for us," I lose all faith in the ruthlessness of politics.

Prosecutors want 2-5 years in prison for McThug for probation violation...

That'd be sweet. After the last hearing, the judge told him to have his affairs together, presuming that KK is going to prison.

Re: Detroit meltdown thread: McThug looking at real prison time?

Kwame was just sentenced to 1 1/2 to five years (credited with 120 days served). (gasps in the courtroom when Groner initially said five).

Judge Groner ripped him up one side and down the other. It, of course, was carried live on Detroit TV.

Groner said he'd be tougher on Kwame, but really wasn't.

Kwame was taken away in handcuffs.

It was live! Shit I can't believe I missed it!

He apparently mouthed 'thank you' to some media members.
