Don't know what that means, but that was a Kwame Kilpatrick-level dumb response.

Could you come to Birmingham for a book signing or something and say that? Please?

Mayor McPimp runs to the comfort of the Jeebus Brigade. Prayse Dah Lawd.

Feds are also poking around, thanks to the Wayne County Prosecutor, on some sweetheart deals for a buddy of his with city contracts.

    Ooops.

(although if the Feds couldn't get Coleman Young on an air-tight case with Magnum Oil and Vista Sludge, they might not get Mayor McPimp)

    Objection.
    Relevance?
I'd like to know the number myself since I think this woman has almost no chance of getting a conviction here.

This guy is rapidly becoming the Barry Bonds of elected officials.

Simple your honor. As elected officials -- and officers of the court since both are attorneys -- we hold them to the highest standard. They are supposed to be keepers of the public trust. Yet, their antics cost the taxpayers of this city $9 million, the cost of legal fees to defend their perjurious testimony and we need to send a message to those who dare try this again -- the law is the law and breaking it will cost you.

Yes, and it is the prosecutor's job to get a conviction.
Based on what I've seen so far, I'd put the odds at about 3-1 against.

You mean because Mayor McPimp's wife didn't chase her down the street at the party that never existed?
