Dexter Season 6

Showtime put that together (at least they posted it on their official Dexter Facebook page).
However there is one major omission from the page -- Arthur Mitchell.

 

Yep. Noticed that immediately.

 

We just finished Season 6 over the weekend.
We're currently getting free Showtime. It runs out right after Season 7 Episode 1.

 

Good timing.

This is gonna be one hell of a season.

 

I've enjoyed the series a lot.
There were a lot elements in Season 6 that strained credulity, but I'll take any of those elements over Dexter and Mos Def having another 12-minute conversation about faith. I practically cheered when Mos Def got killed.

Anyway, Dexter has experimented twice with taking on a partner. Also, Deb and others expressed some grudging approval of the Bay Harbor Butcher's actions because he was killing bad guys. Whose to say Deb and Dexter don't team up?

 

I saw the trailer about a month ago. It looks TERRIBLE. I'm pretty sure the show has jumped the shark.

I'll still watch.

 

I honestly thought it would end at the end of the Season 7, but I recently saw that it has been renewed through Season 8.

 

Yeah, I'm seeing Deb going the way of Jimmy Smits, John Lithgow etc. etc.

 

I completely love seasons 1 and 4. There are parts of all the other seasons I like, with 2 probably being my favorite, but they are nowhere near the level the show can be at its peak.

I think the trailer for season 7 looks good because since season 4, I've basically just wanted Dexter to be found out to see how it plays out. This should be the last season and I really don't know why they need to drag it on for another.

 

As much as I enjoy the show, I'd be happy to see it end with a strong, compelling season this year.

 

I had no idea there would be an 8th until you mentioned it and now I'm kind of pissed. It has gone on long enough as it is at this point. Last season was fairly pointless and boring.

4 (the best season of any television show I've ever seen), 1, 5, 6, 2, 3. Three was just godawful. Two wasn't far behind.
