Boots: Imus isn't going to get fired for this. He's going to lose his job because he can't make money for WFAN. I'd actually like to see what would happen if he didn't apologize for this.

After giving this more thought and reading what a lot of you had to say, I agree that Imus' remarks were crude and insensitive and thoughtless and unfunny -- bordering on racist -- and he deserves to be suspended and/or subject to a zero-tolerance policy.

But not fired. I don't believe the man is a racist.

The first time I heard the clip, I thought it was funny. Not so funny now.

As much of an unfunny schmuck as is Don Imus, Al Sharpton is in Dick Cheney's league as a world class asshole. Sharpton is about as bad a mutha fucking piece of shit as exists without actually raping a baby.
