Seems to me both threads are flourishing quite well. So I don't quite see what the problem is from the cool kids in the lunchroom. ;D

I've been on other message boards where the moderator(s) had the ability to merge related threads when multiple ones were started. Does the software for this Web site not allow that?

How would you feel if boots bent your sister or daugter over, plowed her in the ass, and then wrote about his experience for all to see on a message board.

I guess they would feel the way that you are feeling now, but what does that have to do with the topic at hand. Nothing.

Imus' comments were idiotic, but the more outraged people get, the more people will listen to his show...

I remember listening to Imus in the 1970s. He would make a habit of pushing the envelope... they lost an Irish Airlines account when he was reading a commercial or the end of a commercial and said "Protestants have to fly coach". He did things which nobody else did and drew attention, and maybe some things were funny the first time. However, he has always showed himself to be lazy when he wasn't doing rehab stints. When Howard Stern went on in the morning against him, Stern cleaned his clock in the ratings.

I have never figured out how Imus has managed to stay on the air for so long. The standard answer is that he does the best at attracting an audience in New York comprised of people who make over $100,000 a year - New York and maybe LA are some of the few places where that audience has any signficant numbers. The only way I can explain that is they listen because they perceive everybody else making six figures listens - Imus certainly hasn't been especially creative or funny since I was in high school - back in the 1970s.

Not a sometimes thing here. It gets me every time, but then I have a terrible sense of direction to start with.
