Ragu, block those PMs. And if they're that bad, forward them to us.

    Ragu is not a bigot.

  3. I think I have something of an answer here.

I don't think he is, either, but what makes you judge and jury on that matter?

No one called Ragu a bigot. Nor did anyone send him a PM. Let's get this clear. This is getting off the subject at hand.

Nah, I can deal with it. I was amused by someone who has done everything possible to earn disrespect on this board calling me "son" condescending to me, and telling me how much I have to learn--as if he's Van McKenzie or John McPhee (more suited to me). There are dozens of people on this board, who if I get a PM like that, I take a step back and ask, "What am I doing wrong." From him, I laughed my ass of and told a few other people who got their laugh out of it too.

As long as his kids get the Budweiser distributorship as part of minority representation, he's just another big mouth asshole without a job.

As far as helping minorities? Fuck That Shit. They get what everyone gets, an equal shot at deducting their mortgage deduction, student loans and public education. If minorities need extra help it must mean they can't hack it on their own.

As I watch this press conference, I begin to wonder: if the coach's and players' comments get wide play on other outlets - network news, morning shows, etc. - does Imus even come back from his suspension?

You know, there's another issue out there which needs to be addressed.

If the black community wants to eliminate the use of degrading terms, they can start by eliminating them when talking about each other.

Ah, yet we've come so far, what with two black head coaches in the Super Bowl. ::)

I'd also like to point out that despite my feelings regarding Sharpton and Jesse, Don Imus is a complete fucking idiot and deserves whatever punishment he receives. Sharpton's still a pimp though.

Son, I did not send you a PM. I didn't call you a bigot. I didn't like your statement. Those are the facts. Get them straight. If you're going to try and make yourself bigger than you are at my expence, I'd appreciate it if you would get the facts correctly.
I think what bothers you is that I said what I felt. You don't like that. Well I don't like a lot of things but I don't call people names the way you did without being called one first. But as I said, I want to keep the communication lines open. No one is angry. Just tired of bullshit especially from people who are in control who may not like what is said but take something out of context.
I hope this clears it up.
