In a free market if ideas and language, everything is fair game. If people want to listen, they can, if they don't and enough people don't, they won't be selling those ideas in public. I am offended every day by Sean Hannity and rush Limbaugh, but that doesn't mean they should be banned. I just don't listen. But my opinion on their putrid shit doesn't allow me or those that are similarly minded to have them banned.

The team apparently will meet with Imus at "an undisclosed location." What, are they going to Dick Cheney's hideout?

See that's my point. Why use the word pimp to describe Sharpton. Is it because he's black? Couldn't Imus be called a pimp because he's using people for laughs and ratings.
I'm not coming down on you but check out the way you are using words. It can be misleading.

Is there that much room in Bush's cranium?

Every radio has an off and on switch. I use it regularly.

If it's so bad, and bad enough that you need to start threads calling for the bullshit to stop, maybe it's time for a break.

That sounds like you are indirectly calling Ragu a bigot.

And that is what we call freedom.
Don't like Imus, and I can't stand the pompous unfunny self important crackhead, turn him off.
I didn't even know Sharpton had a radio show. I'm guessing that only those that generally agree with him, tune in, same with Rush. These marginal assholes aren't advancing the cause of civilization, but they aren't detracting from it since they ONLY preach to the choir.

If Whitlock stops by, maybe he could bring some perspective on this with his pimp hand.

Hey, Boots, wake up and face reality.
Suddenly the "problems" that Jesse and Al see in corporate America suddenly are fixed if Jesse and Al get a check from that same racist corporate America.
    They are thieves with suits.
