Did Imus talk about the Rutgers women's team?

I'm pretty sure the music played during the Rutgers women's basketball warmup didn't include the word "ho" in it.
Again, just because it's hip hop, dosn't mean it's about gangsters and hoes.

I'm not fully of revisionist history and what does your personal comment have to do with the topic at hand? Absolutely nothing.

But if the tone of the presser is it's not about the team, it's about women, then they need to check their iPods and CD players. Don't know what they listen to, but I'd place a hefty wager there's an artist on most of their iPods that has used the term "ho" in a song.

And just because Imus is an idiot who says ho doesn't mean everyone of his sentences has "ho" in it. In my original post I asked about artists, not songs. I think Imus is an idiot who should be slapped down for being an idiot. But I also think that if you are so offended by what Imus said, you should also not support any artists who use the word ho in any of their songs. My question is more along the lines of does Rutgers play an artist during warmups who uses ho in another song? If this issue is really about more than one stupid old white guy who says stupid insenstive things, should there be strong stances taken against artists who use ho?

Exactly what I am trying to say.

Music is one thing. A rapper like 50 cents doesn't say "all Rutgers basketball players are nappy headed ho's." Imus did and that's the difference. Why is that so hard to understand? If you had a daughter on that team and Imus referred to her that way, would you not be upset?

It's not different according to the Rutger's coach. She's the one that said it's not about this basketball team, it's about women in general.

Isn't it 50 cent? Singular? I may be old but I'm hip.

And I don't. But I have to say, this whole thing has taught me a lot.

Well, Sharpton is supporting a noble cause here (and has done so in many other cases) so it's hardly fair to criticize him here. Whether or not Sharpton is actually a "pimp" is hardly relevant here, much less relevant than, say, Imus' own sordid history.
