Mike and Mad Dog are trying their damndest to defend their boy Imus. In a nutshhell, Russo blames Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton, while saying imus is just a kidder and that anything he says shouldn't be taken seriously. "It's fun,'' he said. "in one ear, and out the other.''
    Pitiful

  2. And Paul Begala just said on CNN that the Rutgers team could turn themselves into national heroines if they "forgave" the wrinkle farmer.
    God, what a tool.

Nothing short of the death of Don Imus is going to satisfy some folks.

Too bad, he's already dead. Well, undead, technically.

  4. No, he should retire and spend more time with his family.

Your thinking is perfectly logical, and frankly the comparison is apples and oranges anyway.

Led Zeppelin stole lyrics from blues artists that stated, "Squeeze my lemon, till the juice runs down my leg." This was on a record that sold millions of albums worldwide and helped launch the career of one of rock's greatest bands. If you want to buy their album that's perfectly fine.

If Anderson Cooper says on CNN to "squeeze his lemon," that's not going to go over very well.

Mike and Chris haven't been funny in years. Their time is up.

If it's complete and unconditional forgiveness he wants, he should ridicule the Amish University women.

"I wouldn't care if he said this about my daughter." - Chris Russo, today.

If Chris said that, he should be ashamed of himself.

They'd be bigger heroines if they beat the senile old fucker into the floorboards.

The reaction to Imus' comments have been MUCH worse than the comments.

Howard Stern echoed what I had posted many days ago: Imus' corporate-influenced apologizing is what is truly offensive here.

"He's apologizing like a guy who got his first broadcasting job," Stern said. "He should have said, '(expletive) you, it's a joke."'

    Some jokes aren't funny.
