And knowing is half the battle.

    Go Joe!

PS -- Make sure those sheets are at least 300-count. Chafing can be a problem.

Maybe Imus was just quoting some 2 live crew lyrics:

    Verse 1: [fresh kid ice]
There's only one place where we can go
Where the price is right just to fuck a ho
It's always popular with the girls and the guys
'cause for all my money, it's the best buy
Ten dollars, two hours is the time of the stay
It's more than enough time to slay
Each room has a bed and also a sink
So you can wash your dick after fucking the pink
But be careful of the things that you use'
Cause you can get arrested for sex abuse
So as you hit the door and the panties drop,
Whole lot of suckin' and fuckin' at the fuck shop!

The only thing that surprised me about this was the attention it got -- everyone always makes excuses for Imus when he makes fun of black people. This is the same asswipe who said PBS was letting "the cleaning lady" anchor Washington Week in Review. It was a reference to Gwen Ifill, a black journalist whose accomplishments dwarf those of a broken down addict like Imus. Needless to say, the Tim Russerts of the world pretended he never said shit like that and kept going on his show.

I'm late on getting in on this, but this was unacceptable. And anyone getting pissed at this should be pissed at Packer for his comments as well.

Michael, it should not be surprising at all, of course we know that. It also tells me that regardless who's in the political elite (Kerry, Richardson, among others), the good ol' boy system continues to be a major problem with these guys. They think everything that comes out of Imus' mouth is golden.

Maybe it's time for the electorate to stop being the mother-fucking fools we are and start sending people who are cognizant of sensitivity and have common sense.

It's abhorrent to see that those jackasses in Washington still placate and laugh at the sophomoric shit that Imus rolls out everyday, including McGuirk, who loves to provoke it even further.

The problem isn't Imus or dignan (as much as all of us are burning to the stakes). It's our fucking society and how we behave and have an opinion to say whatever the fuck we want to say, and then claim 1st Amendment. It's a cop-out. You can say what's on your mind, as long as you have something "intelligent" and cognizant to say. Letting fools like Rosie, Imus, Opie and Anthony, Limbaugh, and Huffington turn into mouthpieces for themselves and no one tells them to shut the hell up and realize that what they are saying is outright "dumb."

We love to talk about doing something to change it, but we continue to sit on our ass and allow it fester. That's our fault, that's my fault, and no one is blameless here. Anyone who says otherwise, needs to be shot, 'cause your lying.

Imus will never be canned, like Packer. The networks know that those two are the cash cows that keep $$$ in their pockets.

Not that it matters in any way, what's ironic is that he's a registered Democrat, but even Democrats can be as asinine and insane with their comments like Republicans. And don't give this partisan bullshit either. It's everyone who allows it to happen.

I'm tired of the excuses to cover people's asses, I'm tired of no one taking responsibility for their behavior and actions, and I'm fed up with the bullshit that we listen too and don't stand up to it. Imus and Stern has been pulling this mess off for so long, they are untouchable.

It's time to grab them by the shoulders and toss them to the curb.

    Intentions, Rhody. They mean everything.

Packer most assuredly did not have gays in mind when he used the term "fag out." That's one he grew up with, and it had a very banal meaning.

Having serious issues with Packer over this is not unlike getting mad at somebody for using the word "niggardly."

  8. love the pack mentality here among the lifers

"dignan" didn't realize "nappy" had racist overtones

he's got his opinion, ya'all disagree, and he might be an ass, I don't know the guy, but it's pretty clear from context he's not a racist

wtd, precisely one person called him racist after his post finally admitting he was wrong (and admitting it in an admittedly assholish way).

I would hardly call that a pack mentality.

He came on here proclaiming loudly that it wasn't racist. He was proven to be wrong. After that, those that posted basically said 'don't be so vehement about shit you don't know.'

    The end.

Boom: the video for that song is the reason "BET after hours" was invented, I think. First time I saw it, my jaw dropped. And I've seen a lot of offensive, demeaning videos in my life.
