Well, if he didn't state said opinion as fact, and then tell the person who was trying to educate him to "get a dictionary," I doubt the reaction would have been as harsh.

What is with the rush to defend the sometimes wrong but never in doubt?

Imus needs to go -- yesterday...
But neither the FAN or MSNBC will jettison his tired ass

  9. I agree with you.

Those Rutgers player, who he degraded, have more class and intelligence than Imus will ever have.

C'mon, it wasn't Imus who said that, it was Bernie.

Bernie has been doing his politically incorrect shtick for at least the last 12 years (or at least since I first started listening to Imus' show, back when it was relevant).

Sometimes it's funny as hell. Other times, like when he whips out the J-bomb, it falls flat.

FWIW, Bernie (who is white) supposedly gets a "pass" from the NYC African-American community for his epithets because of his "street cred." He's crossed a line before, though, and he did it here, I'd say.

And yet the main point here is Imus needs to go... did you miss that F_B? More universal than anything else on the board.
Geez... can't we kick someone who deserves it?
