Oh, and to the right: There was a time when any sentence criticizing John McCain on anything from his education plan to his knowledge of the banking industry had to be preceded by, "Of course, John McCain is an American hero and I thank him for his service. We all do. But ..." So you don't now get to dismiss his torture thoughts so easily without being called on it, either.

 

The logic on this is so tortured as to be nonexistent.

For example, three years ago, I might have cared what Mitt Romney thought about health care.
