Leonard Thompson? I dunno. I defer to your Honolulu blue knowledge ...

I know, I know, but just how synonymous that number and uniform are to people of my age, I guess. Knee-jerk reaction before you actually think about it.

    Well. I'm 0-for-2; I'll stop now.

I was at a music festival recently and was talking to a couple vendors. They said they were Lions fans, and one said, Man, I used to love No. 20. I said, Ya, Billy Sims was great. They both looked at me like I was from outer space. For some reason, I immediately thought of Sims, but they were talking about Barry.

Given the time period of the video, my guess is that it is Butch Johnson, in his late-career stint with the Broncos.

I think it is Leonard Thompson. It appears he's wearing No. 49 and I recall Thompson being one of the few receivers of the time to have a number that wasn't in the 80s.

The two Dodgers on the bench... the yawner is Orel Hershiser, and his disintersted buddy is Rick Sutcliffe

For a fleeting moment, I thought it might be Tom Niedenfuer... but the head wasn't big enough

The two late 70s Padres that collide are Barry Evans and Gene Richards.

Richards I knew because he was pretty good. I admit I totally had to look Barry Evans up.
