DMN's Evan Grant votes for Michael Young as AL MVP

I really don't understand what the problem with the thread is. It's been lively. What's wrong with that?

 

And on this point, I'll agree with Dick. People have made their cases, but I don't see anybody truly pissed or resorting to a bunch of name-calling like you see on the political threads. It's OK that some of the folks on here don't see it the same way I do. That's the beauty of the discussion.

I also think it's useful to talk about because you see the thought process of people in our field as they consider voting on awards, whether it's AL MVP, Heisman Trophy or high school All-Area. I believe the large majority of people who vote on these things do put a lot of thought and research into their votes, even if they don't always make the same choices as others.
