Do Vegetarians and Vegans Think They Are Better Than Everyone Else?

But you can eat vegetarian food.

Seriously, what's the deal? Are you a really picky eater? Most folks that stick to a strict "meat and potatoes" diet don't even like to eat fish. But, you eat fish apparently, so you're not a total Neanderthal.

So long as it's not some gross tofu-turkey meal (which almost no vegetarian would serve), what's your objection to a meatless dinner, on a rare occasion?

I'm also dying to know what vegetarian options you might consider serving.

I don't mind being excluded from the "very smart" club, but I do wonder where those photos of your wife's tits and meal are. My personal-message box is empty.

    Oh, you're in the club.

I was just focusing on folks I tend to engage with -- and disagree with -- the most.

And, check the settings on your inbox. You have to turn off the NSFW setting.

Spaghetti, Lasagna. Almost any pasta sans the meat. A salad. Bread. Heck, I could make to lasagnas, one with meat and one without.

It's not that tough. It's almost as easy as broiling fish or steaming some shrimp as an alternative to the main.

So agreeing with someone is a qualifier for being smart?

You see, I don't care if anyone here thinks I am smart or not. I am sure Sonner will use this as a sig, out of context of course.

I know through the success I had in PR, journalism, education and my LLC that I am not some stumbling mope walking around. I am also smart enough to know that everyone has certain things they do better than others. Some writers could not edit to save their lives, and some editors could not write to save their lives. And some people can only design a page, or some people can do everything. It does not make any of them dumb. I understood early that writing is not a gift for me. I am just not that good at it. Double Down, jmag and Fenian are all gifted writers. Too bad they are gone, but that is another topic for another time.

If message board posting is not something I have taken years of my life trying to perfect, then so be it. I am also comfortable enough with what I am looking around and seeing in my house that I really do not care what people on some random message board think. I am not so desperate to become friends with them outside of this board that I spend so much of my life trying make connections with them, like booking hotel rooms for them.

There most people on here intelligent enough not to spend their waking hours trying to trying to tear others down or snark at the journalism profession and in the process ruin this message board. It still makes this place worth visiting, most of the time.

How did you get this out of what I said?

I said nothing like that at all.

Now that sounds delicious. So, why would you object if someone served you this for dinner?

I'm not smart enough to explain. Sorry. I will just focus on other things.

What if they invited me over for a BBQ or a tailgate?
