Do Vegetarians and Vegans Think They Are Better Than Everyone Else?

    Don't like sweet potatoes but saw this on FB and thought the vegans who think they're better than everyone else might:

    " ... These are boiled for 35 min, and then stuffed with a bit of almond butter, chopped green apples, pecans, dried cranberries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon."

    The first part of the thing in quotes is tripe.

    "It's far from certain that a diet with no animal products is best for everyone."

    OK, I'll buy that if you are speaking from a health standpoint. I can't say that in an absolute sense, and then prove it is true -- even if there is a lot of very compelling evidence that makes a good case for it.

    But then writer says ... "a part-time vegan diet. ... is the direction that will do the MOST to benefit human health."

    That is about as unprovable as an absolute statement, as the first thing the writer dismissed.
