Can we see it (or would you like to send it to me and let me take a crack at it)?

Here's the pic - and ADod, I'd love you to take a crack at it.
And don't worry, I didn't Uncle Bob the photo. I was standing away from the photogs because I was terrified of getting in their way and being that guy. I talked to them at the reception and the complimented me on my equipment and courtesy of staying out of their way.

It's a great shot if the little girl is not there and the man's crotch is not over the groom's back.

It might be nitpicking, but a background like that ruins a shot for me.

I love the blue background I got for this. This is my father-in-law and it might be the best picture I have ever taken of him. Sums the man up perfectly.

And from my avatar, another picture where the color around the subject adds just as much to the picture as the subject. I loved all the different shades of green in this one photo.

The leaning house drives me crazy. I can't hold a camera level to save my life, so you can imagine my ongoing irritation.

So you like this more? I know her head is cropped off, but it does make a difference. It is not as much of a peeve of mine I guess.

As long as we're sharing favorite wedding photos, this is the one that I like the most from a wedding I shot in March. Thoughts?

    I like that a lot.

The yellow in the background brings a lot to the picture. I might have totally cropped out the people to the right of the bride if the image allowed. I would even try to photoshop out the annoying lady's head between them. The pillar seperating the bride and groom from the rest of the world sort of tells a little story with the picture.

First the negative: To me, having it off-centered doesn't add anything and takes away from the photo. My eye is drawn to the space to the left, first to the tables and then to the pole. I would crop off most of the left side to have the couple centered. Also, brokeh could be better.

Positive: Captured great emotion between bride and groom. Like the color of the photo.

    Thanks for the input guys.

SF, I was using a f3.5-5.6, 18-105mm lens so the bokeh was as good as I was going to get, unfortunately. I'm saving up for a 70-200mm f2.8 which should make things a lot creamier and defined.

Also, I intentionally left the people in the photo to tell the story of everyone watching this couple and having them be the center of attention. I get what you're saying about the off-center bit though. I had a bunch of pics like that of them. Like this:

For some reason I like the previously-posted one better though. Probably because it was a different, unique shot.
