Do you wear a mask in public

Always indoors. Outdoors when required or when I can't realistically distance at least 6 feet from others.

 

Yes, it's the rule here. I take it off when golfing, but not sailing.

 

Yes. It's going to be mandatory across Ohio in a week or 2 anyway, so I'm getting a head start.

 

Yes indoors. Absolutely never outdoors. I hate crowds and was avoiding crowded outdoor places long before it was cool.

I'm now the appointed errand runner in my house. Wife has to wear a mask at work, wants to go absolutely nowhere else where one is required (but had to yesterday for an eye appointment).

 

A Facebook friend of mine put one of those memes on FB yesterday that said "Wear A Mask"

The first two responses from guys in my Trump-living Midwestern hometown:

"No" and "Hell No"

I don't wear one working in my yard or in the car by myself. Shopping and anywhere else? Absolutely. My wife and I are both in our early 70s, so we take special precautions.

Yes. Most of my public appearances are at work, which requires associates to wear them, or at restaurants/other stores, the bank, etc. that have also required them, so...

I'm one of those who admits I hate them, and who struggles with breathing, sweating, and eyeglasses fogging up constantly, so it comes off as soon as I'm in the car or the house, though.

 

Yes. Indoors, outdoors, doesn't matter. The government has yet to start fining people who don't wear masks in public -- unlike Singapore -- but it probably doesn't have to as mask use here is around 99 percent. If everyone else here can wear a mask and avoid asphyxiating or melting despite the weather, so can I.

 

Always except when on a walk. I live in a quiet neighborhood without much traffic so I see very few people. Whenever someone comes into my line of sight, no matter how far away, I'll cross the street or walk in the middle of the road.

It's such a dumb debate. Worse case scenario, a mask does nothing. Best case it saves lives. Sure it's a but uncomfortable, but so are shoes sometimes and we wear those. Wear the damn mask.

 

Suddenly all these right-wingers have pre-existing conditions which will kill them if they put on a mask. .... Note their pre-existing condition won't kill them if they catch Covid, but it will for sure kill them if they have to wear a mask.

 

Yes, except when I take my dog to the park across the street. I don't get near anybody and I don't talk with anybody.
