Kind of interested to see the 30 for 30 on the New York Sack Exchange on Friday, December 13.

 

One of that group's members just died not too long ago, I think. Probably just as they were finishing production.

Yacht Rock on HBO. Really fun look at music tree started by Steely Dan and Toto.

 

I really like yacht rock (who doesn't?) but I solely want to see this so I can see/hear Donald Fagan curse out and hang up on someone connected to Bill Simmons.

 

I think we need some love here for "Game 7" on prime, since we have an appearance by Elliotte Friedman.

 

This doc series slipped right past me. Looks fantastic. Definitely adding it to my watch list. Thx!

 

How do you omit Pablo Cruise from a doc called "Yacht Rock?"

 

Watched the Yacht Rock Doc last night. Pretty well done and very informative.

Basically: Every Yacht Rock song includes Michael McDonald and/or Toto.

 

I forgot to post this on the anniversary day: On Nov. 22, I watched "JFK: What the Doctors Saw," a 2023 60th-anniversary special documentary regarding the medical aspects of President John F. Kennedy's injuries when he was assassinated, and why virtually all of them at Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he was treated, firmly believe, to this day, that there were multiple shooters involved.

Really interesting and compelling.
