Does anyone still think Manning is better than Brady?

A 2-yard TD pass with 9 minutes left? Really? So should they have just taken a knee? It's a no-win there. Brady's padding stats if he throws, Belichick's an asshole for running up the score by going for it.

In pre-2007 NFL life, the starting quarterback isn't even in the game. He certainly isn't throwing a 35-yard pass from midfield to get into the red zone.

Brady was 5 for 7 on that drive.

Your belief that the Pats weren't running it up and stat-padding all year is the most Rhody Pats Fanboy thing ever. Maybe more than your defense of Aaron Hernandez.

Gun to your head, you'd take Manning in a big game? That's a serious death wish. And while Brady has had his share of bad losses in the playoffs (2009-10 most notably), it's laughable to say their results are similar. Manning has lost his first playoff game NINE times. NINE TIMES! Like I said, that's a record that likely will never be broken. Although it probably will be extended if Manning returns next year.

You might want to read that again, Sun.

Look at the box scores and tell me how many stat-padding TD passes Brady threw.
Since you won't, I'll tell you.

-The TD pass to Welker in the Redskins game. (And IIRC, the backstory was Belichick trying to stick it to Shanahan, a completely juvenile move that would have been applauded if it were just about any other coach).
-In a 38-7 win over the Bills, Brady threw for a 45-yard TD in the fourth quarter to Moss that made it 38-7 with 10:28 left. It was the last NE pass of the game.
-In a 49-28 win over Miami, Brady threw a 16-yard TD pass to Welker in the fourth quarter with 8:18 left that made it 49-21 (The previous drive Cassell was in the game, threw a pick-6 that made it 41-21 with 10 minutes left. I think 21 is a "safe" lead, but against a team that held you to under 4 a carry, throwing was the way to go).

The rest? All important to put the team up safe or clinching a win.
    But facts.

Shanahan wasn't the coach of the Redskins in 2007.

It was Gibbs. My error. I remembered Belichick had a problem with the coach was. Thought it was Shanahan.

I doubt Belichick would have anything against Gibbs, but maybe it's a NASCAR thing.

Just checked Manning's 2013 season where he "stat-padded" the whole season.
    It happened once.
In a 37-13 win over the Texans, he threw a 25-yard TD to put Denver up 37-13 with 4:34 in the fourth quarter.
That's it. The rest either put his team up by three scores in the fourth or four or more scores in the third.

Belichick had a problem with Gibbs?
