Does your paper pay for press box food?

    Hey - Rome wasn't built in a day - I'm starting where I can.

I really only get parking at about half the events I cover. The pro leagues don't much bother giving TV folk parking. Unless a satellite truck's involved. There are only so many places you can park those things -- and it's not ususally in a for-revenue parking area.

Well, I did it. I went to an event yesterday and was offered food no less than 3 times. Politely declined. Then I proceeded to go back to the station and eat a soft taco from Taco Bell. Yeah -- this is going to work out well. ::)

If you can be swayed by press box food in a positive or negative way...something is wrong with you.

Again - didn't say I could be swayed - said I didn't want to feel "weird" about arguing with the SIDs over access while standing over a meal they provided.

If you don't feel weird... great! I'm not trying to tell anybody what to do.

    Enjoy your meals!!

I never said I take food...in fact...I eat before I get to games and chew gum while I'm covering a game.

    That's a good solution.
