Of course, RB later admits he's ADD so because he needs all of his sense going not to miss a nuance (and really, is every nuance of a football game that signifcant?) he assumes everyone does.

Plus, there's all his crap about he's a boss.... well, he must be "the boss" of some small-time paper because my boss spends his time running the department and the section, not going to games, blogging, taking 1,000 notes and criticizing other papers' writers.

then you went on to become a pompous, hypocritical fuck who spoke from both sides of his mouth.

do you also adminster the gospel on tv in your spare time?

I'm just curious what business it was of RB's to criticize other writers' work ethics.

Did what the other writers do in the press box affect their work? Was the output substandard? Was it late? We don't know. RB doesn't know. The only people that know are the writers and their respective desks.

That's what I was saying Hockeybeat. I could take a fairly accurate guess as to who all the parties involved are and then figure out if the solitaire affected anything. But what's the point? People harness their energies differently.

And even if their stories did suck, what business is it of RB's if they don't work for his paper?

I'd like to know how the other writers' actions affected RB. It had to distract him something fierce to start a thread designed to rip and humiliate his colleagues on an industry message board.

This is starting to remind me of that Loose Cannons movie where Dan Aykroyd's character has to avoid visual stimuli to avoid a multiple personality disorder recurrence.

This thread is some fucked up shit. (I've given up trying to stop swearing. That has nothing to do with anything, and thus, I mention it here.)

That sounds like a really lame movie.

It's one of those WGN used to show monthly before it dropped off the face of the Earth.

WGN! That came with the cable package we got way back in the day. The Dodgers were my team, but I watched most of the Braves' (WTBS) and Cubs' (WGN) games just because I love baseball. Then they took WGN off the basic cable package. Bastards. But hey, I still got to watch the double-play combo of Glenn Hubbard and Raphael Ramirez.
