Wouldn't you think saying THAT would out both myself and the writer -- two things I really don't want to do?

I don't know what surprises me more...That I slogged through 10 pages of this garbage, or that my first SportsJournalists.com post in months finds me in total agreement with F_B.

Good times. I don't have anything to add beyond all the good points made already (obviously, all the really good points were made by the people who agree with me). F_B and the others were right: Everybody works differently. RB obviously wants to be celebrated for his unbelievably superb nose-to-the-grindstone work ethic, and that's just super.

But all the hateration on the guy "piddling" while "on the clock" (Ha!) is just juvenile. And the line about whether or not this dude's writing wins awards or whatever...Jesus. What's next, an actual dick-measuring contest?

I just pray to God I never sit next to Eagle Eye Rockbottom in a press box somewhere...in between all the HARD, HARD, HARD WORK he's doing, he might glance over to me and see me typing an e-mail and go all Suge Knight on me.
