    I hate the "Bert and Ernie are gay" junk. They're Muppets. Folks who say they are gay are just as looney as Falwell was when he declared the Teletubbies were gay.

    Exactly, except it is worse because many of the idiots who do it think they are somehow supporting gay rights. The same goes for the ones who try to claim Batman and Robin as a gay couple. Most of that seemed to come from the Adam West/Burt Ward versions of the characters. Never mind that in that version, Bruce Wayne had taken over as Dick Grayson's legal guardian. How exactly would that have been the kind of image homosexuals would want people to have of them? An adopted father getting involved with the boy he took in?
