No, he's saying that educated people don't want to live in a backwater.

Yeah, and we can start by either opening the SCOTUS thread on Voting Rights or we can move this crap to the political thread, per the rules.
Oh I'm sorry, you don't want everyone to live by the same rules. TOLERANCE!!

Why can't we start with acceptance of equal standing for gays?

Why can't we start with consistent application of the board rules for everyone regardless of who they are or what they believe?

Exactly my thought, that this is another line of cases we'll see, although this still avoids a ruling on the merits.

Although majorities across all educational groups say gay and lesbian couples should be entitled to the same rights, support for this position increases with education: 76% of college graduates agree with the statement, compared with 69% of those with some college experience and 58% of those who have not attended college.

According to Pete Williams of NBC, the ruling's language opens the door to suits challenging states that don't recognize gay marriages of other states. Of course, by the time that percolates back up the system, we could have an entirely different Court majority one way or the other.

The sad thing is most of you are turning and looking the other way, yet would be the first to "report" any other thread being started independently of the board that was set up by the Moderator to allow this type of discussion. Credibility is what you are in the dark.
