I wasn't aware that the '72 Dolphins' schedule was light, but let's not anoint NE's slate as murderers' row either. By season's end as few as four teams on their schedule could be playoff-bound. Pittsburgh and Indy are legit foes, of course, but they've also got six walkovers in the abysmal AFC East. (Shula, if you want sour grapes, look in your backyard at these putrid Dolphins.)

I'm with many here who would like to see another team in the unbeaten ranks, but not this year. Please, someone beat the Pats. Pittsburgh probably is the last hope.

You been watching the Bills this season?

Awful start, including that incredible loss to Dallas, but they have some very nice parts.

The Patriots schedule is, and will be, leaps and bounds more challenging than the Dolphins'.

    Dolphins of 1972
    Redskins 13-4
    Steelers 12-4
    Browns 10-5
    Chiefs 8-6
    Giants 8-6
    Vikings 7-7
    Jets 7-7
    Jets 7-7
    Colts 5-9
    Colts 5-9
    Chargers 4-9-1
    Bills 4-9-1
    Bills 4-9-1
    Cardinals 4-9-1
    Patriots 3-11
    Patriots 3-11
    Oilers 1-13

Tedy Bruschi doesn't age. Nice theory though.

Yes, I have been watching the Bills. Their wins are the Jets (twice), Baltimore and Cincinnati. I'm unmoved. Pats made quick work of them in Week 3 and will do so again next week after a bye this week.

Probably. But if the weather kicks up (it is now a night game), it may be closer than the line will have you think.

    Not Sour Grapes.

The Patriots were caught RED HANDED CHEATING.

    $500,000 FINE
    $250,000 FINE
    LOSS OF 1st ROUND PICK.

The League surmised that they were RIBALD CHEATERS!!!!!

on the other hand - Barry Bonds wasn't caught doing nothing - yet the Media Vilified him and wants to award an asterisk?

    NOT FAIR!

    NOT RIGHT!

    JUST PLAIN FOUL!

That's the kind of thinking I like. In two of the Pats' SB-winning seasons they went 17-2 against the spread. That's unfreakingreal. They're on that pace again, with their only spread loss so far being Indy. It's easy to cash tickets on the Pats this year, but find me some people who are doing it by going against them.

They're not going undefeated this season.

    There. I said it.

  10. "Ribald"?
Two years as comic relief and suddenly, he's Henry Fucking James?
    Something's up here.

Shula's still mad about the snowplow game in '82. He really is.
