He attracts supporters who figure attacks on him are "proof" that he is the anti-establishment candidate. More attacks = more proof = more support. Trump is the only one who will sink his campaign. Maybe some financial irregularities are discovered, mob ties, a leaked video or an open mic. And figure there are at least 10 "oppo" efforts spanning the globe leaving no pebble unturned. I doubt anyone in the GOP is holding anything back at this point waiting for a better time to get it to a friendly journalist.
