I kind of wonder how genuine people are when it comes to the polling - Like, if they just want him to stay in the race because it makes for high comedy. Like most serious issues in life, I look to the WWE for guidance, and whenever they include a jobber as a poll option, that person wins. I don't think people will actually vote for Trump, but I do think they would like him to stay in the race as long as possible. Troll by poll.

My issue with DMR writing this is that they essentially see Trump as Gordon Gekko and Al Czervik, which he is.

Newspapers want diverse voices but heaven help us if one if the candidates has FU money and doesn't really give a damn about winning every vote, only about winning.

The poll that was just released was a three day poll. He was at 28% the two days before the comments, and at 8% the day after, so it definitely hurt him in this poll. We'll have to wait for further polling to see the if the damage is permanent.
