The point is that while you're loving watching the GOP get what "it deserves," it might wind up stumbling all the way to the White House because of it.

Glad you've got it figured out. I sure don't. I thought Trump would have been buried about three months ago.

Sadly, I think this group of voters will have more sway in the election than anyone ever thought possible. Many won't know a thing about his politics, but will know that they like his TV show.

TV can't get enough of him. CNN had a Donald Trump special last night. They devoted about three straight hours of air time to his press conference and his stump speech in Dubuque. It's the intersection of politics and reality TV.

No other candidate will get that treatment.

When this gets serious, Trump will fall off.

Why is he getting such huge interest now? Because every other candidate (both Democrat and Republican) is beyond uninspiring. Biden may change that.

    Biden? Inspiring?

Which Biden are you talking about?

Elliotte, do you think Rob Ford would win if he ran for mayor of Toronto next time?

It's TMZ politics on both sides of the border.

I think Trump will bow out at a point where he can tell the public that he would have been president had he stayed in the race. This is all a Trump business ploy, or at least I hope it is.

I can't see Trump bowing out when he believes there's a chance he'll be elected freaking President of United States. For a guy who's all ego, that's the biggest "look at me" moment on earth.

Also, because TV is relentlessly feeding the beast.
Trump makes for good TV. But that doesn't make him presidential.

I'm not convinced that you need to be presidential to be President anymore.

I'd vote for Jill Biden. She sure inspires me.
