That's because a lot of the people who vote in elections have stopped paying attention once the winner actually starts governing.

At this point is the GOP waiting to drop its bombshell on Trump, if there is one, or for him to do something so insanely stupid, which voters may lap up even more? Is he untouchable?

What will sink Trump is when the race gets down to a handful of contenders. Polling in the 20s is great when you are running against 16 other candidates, but less so as the numbers shrink. As the other candidates drop out, I suspect few of their supporters will go to Trump. Trump's best scenario is if Bush, Walker, Kasich, Cruz, and Rubio stay in for a long time.

Apparently both Fiorina and Jindal are opening up on him today.

Jindal scored with the awesome blast, "a fool and his daddy's money are soon parted."

Between rumors of Trump's sexual abuse of Ivana, his mob involvement , his drug use in the 70s-00s, his sexual dalliances with numerous people of both genders, it should be a snap for a GOP dirty tricks hit squad to leave him in a flaming heap.

Trump turned his daddy's millions into billions. Not sure how that line applies to him.

Imagine where Trump would be today if both his mommy and daddy worked in newspapers, and he was as smart as you were as a 10-year-old. He might have really gone far.

You're all over this. Have you shown yet that there were even rumors out there?

Also, Jindal didn't score anything. He's toast and he knows it. His jabs will be ignored.

Thing is, when people blast Trump, it hurts them more than it hurts Trump.

The correct answer for any candidate when he or she is asked to comment on Trump or any of Trump's statements is this:

"Donald Trump is welcome to run his campaign the way he wants to. I will run my campaign the way I believe is the best way to get my message to the American people."

If you want to take a (very) mild shot, you can say this if someone asks about a specific Trump statement (or tweet or whatever): "Donald Trump says a lot of things. If I had to comment on everything Mr. Trump says, we might be here awhile."

Other than that, don't get into it with Trump. It's like the old saying about mud wrestling with a pig -- you both get dirty and the pig likes it.

Every president learns on the job. Some have greater learning curves than others, but they all have to figure out how it works.

I don't think political experience is necessary to be president. As YF (I think) said, he's the CEO. He can get people working for him to advise him on the ins and outs of the political process and working with Congress, etc.

A better idea is to put a bolt gun against the pig's head and turn him into breakfast sausage.

    Fight fire with fire.

You think Donald Fucking Trump is worried about providing proper documentation when he attacks people?

EVERYBODY who was over about 15 in the 70s-80s-90s remembers the stories in the tabloids and on teevee every single day about Trump partying his ass off in the NYC discos for literally years on end.

And to the Leroy-and-Ethel yahoo yokels who make up the GOP base, "partying your ass off in NYC discos for years on end" mainly means "snorting coke with negro drug pushers and guido gangsters, and getting your cock sucked in bathroom stalls by glitter-spangled gay boys."

Who needs proof, Trump has never worried about it?

Just don't expect it to stick.

It'll stick if it's flogged long enough. Remember, 65% or so of the Trump fan base buys the birther baloney LS&B.

Well, as noted with the quotes from Fiorina and Jindal today, I think the word has gone out among the field it's time to bring the long knives out on Donald.
