I think he's rich. I just don't think he's anywhere close to being as rich as he says he is.

I remember reading a story in one of the NY papers several years back that said when the Forbes 100 comes out, there's only one person listed who regularly calls the magazine up to complain that he's worth MORE than what they listed... That guy is Trump.

The real billionaires want no part of everyone knowing what they're worth.

In terms of actual net worth, I'd be surprised if he even had the $40 million he inherited from Fred. I'd be further surprised if he owned any property.

The suspicion of people much smarter about these things than I is that everything coming in from licensing and 'Apprentice' goes right back out to pay off what he owes, to pay expenses, and to keep up appearances.

He may have his name on $2.5 billion worth of stuff, but that stuff all belongs to someone else.

So, basically, Trump shouldn't be taken seriously as a businessman - let alone a POTUS candidate.

    Of course not.

I thought that was pretty well and widely known by now. Especially after the O'Brien book.

I know that. You know that. But, sadly, it seems others (Hi DB! Hi GOP voters!) don't.

Please, please, please let it be Barbour! Either him, Palin or Bachmann. That would be a laugh riot.

Trump knows more about the economy and fixing it than Barrack Hussein Obama could dream of.

Barack Yassir Khaddafi Osama Obama has filed for bankruptcy four fewer times than Billionaire Boy Trump.

    Financial genius.

Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy.

Lesson 1: Lose other people's money.

As was likely the case here:

What does it matter? If his companies were run into bankruptcy, he was still in charge, right?
