I saw nothing on any of those links that was remotely compelling. Just a bunch of claims.

The Annenbergs supported McCain in the last election.
And why wouldn't you trust the Hawaii DOH?

And how can anybody think any of those sites have anything approaching the credibility of Factcheck.org?

So, is he going to even bother with the GOP primaries or just go straight to the general with the Tea Party? The ironic thing is that if he runs as an independent (as Trump has threatened to do if he is treated unfairly in the Republican primaries) he virtually assures Barry O is POTUS for a second term!

"It (factcheck.org) is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation."

"Barack Obama was a founding member, chairman, and president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which was also funded by the Annenberg Foundation."

    Uhhhh...dunno.

And Leonore Annenberg, the widow of Walter Annenberg, endorsed John McCain in the election. She also served in the State Department in the Reagan administration, and the Annenbergs and Reagans spent every New Years Eve together.

Typical conspiracist crap. No actual evidence, just a vague connection to muddy the water that sounds impressive on only a very superficial level.

Is it true, or is it not? We are all capable of fact checking for ourselves. Anyone who wants to really know the truth knows that this birth certificate claim is, has been, and always was total bullshit. No questions, no issues.

Anyone who still has questions about this didn't like the true answer, end of story.

I like how CB is using the old "I don't believe it, but there are questions" bullshit. The only questions about Obama's birth are raised by complete and utter morons.

Stopping short of reading all 9 pages of this thread, and simply reading the title, I'm inclined to believe that Obama is all but assured of another 4 years.

    http://tesibria.typepad.com/whats_your_evidence/2008/10/is-factcheckorg.html

    Its conclusion:
"Therefore, the “connection” between Obama and Factcheck.org is as follows:

In the 1990s, Obama served on the board of an organization that received funding from a foundation, which

    (a) was established and funded by a couple, the surviving member of whom has expressly, publicly, endorsed McCain; and

    (b) now provides 100s of millions of dollars of grants to a wide variety of public interest organizations, including the organization (APPC) that runs Fact.check.org.

Therefore, Berg's attempts to discredit Factcheck.org by asserting that it is owned by the Chicago Annenberg Challenge are demonstrably inaccurate."

Love the scramble to try to make FactCheck.org legit. Not buying it. As for the links I posted, I have said NUMEROUS times that those that make the claim the birth certificate issue has been proven without question are ignoring a number of people that still have questions. If their questions are legitimate or not is another issue. I am not supporting the birthers...there are much more important things to worry about.
About FactCheck.org, Walter Annenberg died quite awhile ago. Just because he used to eat with Reagan does not mean anything. Obama is involved with an Annenberg charity, and another arm of that organization is cited as being neutral when assessing the truthfulness of one of its own. Questionable at best, incestuous at worst.
