Their questions have been answered. They don't like the answer.
Forgery is a pretty serious crime. Don't you think that if the COLB were forged Hawaii would want to prosecute the forgers rather than vouch the information on the forged document?
The the Annenbergs donated to McCain's campaign in 2008. People don't publicly endorse one candidate while secretly covering for his main opponent's possible ineligibility.

I guess I should not be surprised. After all, SJ has a full-on unapologetic racist. Why wouldn't it have a concern-troll birther?

And Carlton, lest you flip out, I'm not calling you a racist. And no one said all birthers are racist. But the birther phenomenon is surely driven by racism, as all available data and common sense dictate. Your need to stay one step removed by being a "concerned" birther who simply "raises questions" probably means you're as offended by the inherent racism in those questions as much as the rest of us.

As someone who is not an Obama fan, I would stand and applaud if he went to Hawaii, got the "original" and shut everybody the fuck up.

He should have done this in 2008, but to be fair, who really could have thought people would still be talking about this three years later when there are much, much more important things to worry about?

Carlton's never struck me as being a "concerned" one.

If you think anything Obama does can shut these people up, you fundamentally don't understand the situation.

The height of deliciousness would be for the birthers to be proved right, Obama to be removed from office, and a 69-year-old (incumbent president) Joe Biden to kick every one of the birthers' asses in November 2012. Even better, a 65-year-old Hillary Clinton.

    Really?

At this point, I would jump up and down if Hillary won in 2012.

Well, if people don't accept the COLB as being real, why would they accept the original?
Then, of course there's that whole "must-have-two-citizen-parent" theory.

You're probably right, but I would think that the one that's at the hospital that can't be photocopied or whatever might do it.

There's also the theory that those who are accusing him of it don't actually believe it themselves.

Oh, so now I am a "concern troll birther!" That's awesome. I better hang my head in shame lest I get kicked out of the SportsJournalists.com cool guy club...

Call me what you want. However, let me point out on the first page of this thread I said that, no, we should not take Trump seriously. His birtherism was the main reason for this. But now, being a concern troll birther, I have to reassess this stance. Hmmmm....how can I do this...

Yes, we should take Trump seriously. Regardless of his birther claims (which have never been proven wrong, show me the birth certificate, otherwise you are Kenyan) he is an all-around swell guy with a hit television show. Just so you know, I have a lot of black friends and once, on a vacation to Niagara Falls, I slept with a Canadian girl none of you would know.

If Obama were white (instead of just half white) I would believe him, but because he has some color I cannot trust him. Atlas Shrugged told me not to believe the word of anyone not lilly-white, and I cross-checked this theory on factcheck.org. It was inconclusive, but, you know, Obama does not look like me so he does not deserve the benefit of the doubt.

    Trump/Mel Gibson in 2012!
