Meanwhile, 9 break-ins and her suicide.

Those who didn't want her putter out there won.

You don't have a position to defend.

You thought it was good. Only once you can enunciate why you liked it, can I begin to critique your opinion.

Those of us who've expressed displeasure with the article have stated our reasons. Not sure why you can't do the same.

Not only a disrespectful poster, but one who would cry, gnash teeth and threaten many times to leave.

Meanwhile, Caleb Hannan, who was a prolific tweeter until two days ago, has gone into radio silence.

Can we assume he's been told to STFU by ESPN? He was pretty cocky when it first landed, and now nothing.

Looks like a Bruce Feldman type situation.

Meanwhile, with all the discussion, including a lot of criticism, has a single employee of ESPN said anything critical about this piece? Anything?

Either they all think alike over there, or they're afraid to say boo. It's pretty fucking sad, either way.

So she was born a man but believed she was a woman attracted to other women?

Why is that hard to believe?

And it's your belief she wasn't transgendered? Or it's your belief he should have lied and said she wasn't? Or is it your belief that it's a requirement to good reporting to ignore facts? Everything Dr. V represented herself to be turned out to be not true. Her own brother-in-law called her a con man.

And without any of this, there's still the previous suicide attempt. Yup, her instability is the reporter's fault. ::)

We need to really start coming down on cops who arrest people who then commit suicide in their jail cells.

@marctracy: ESPN spokesperson sends comment about Grantland story, says @BillSimmons plans to address it via Grantland in the coming days

Coming days? They've had 3 months to fashion something knowing the fan would be splattering the shit in every direction.

It'll be the most beautifully crafted ESPN army-of-lawyers legalese you've eve seen.
