Where are these other posts you speak of? I'm sorry, if "they should be allowed to play" isn't good enough for you, then I dont know what is.
And how am I "attacking" Israel? I simply said that there's a difference between the situation in Dubai and the situation that occured in South Africa and that the Israeli athletes should play. Thats all. I'm sorry, but I don't know how you get "I hate Israelis" from that. See I understand that there is a big difference between Israeli citizens and the Israeli government.

Apparenlty, you need me to explain this to you. I have an impression of you from other threads as well and it plays a part in my interpretation of what you are posting here. How hard is that to follow?

Amazing how you keep trying to talk down to me and you're the one who can't keep up. I never said you hate anybody. I said you have a bias against one particular nation and I stand by that given what I've seen on other theads as well as this one.

I have explained why saying the should be allowed to play is diminished when you toss out excuses. If you can't follow that by now, you are beyond help.

You also keep trying to drag the comparison to South Africa back in. Again, show me where I made that comparison. I'm still waiting. I wonder why.

    An update from the wire:

Israel Player Ram to Get Dubai Visa, Congressman Says (Update3)
    c.2009 Bloomberg News
(Adds quote from Weiner in third, final paragraphs.)
By Danielle Rossingh and Scott Soshnick
Feb. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Israeli doubles specialist Andy Ram will be granted a visa by the United Arab Emirates to play in a tennis tournament next week, U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner said.
UAE Ambassador to the U.S. Yousef Al Otaiba informed me that as a result of our discussions Dubai would issue a visa for Andy Ram to participate in the Dubai Tennis Championship, Weiner, a Democrat whose district includes parts of Brooklyn and Queens, said in an e-mailed statement today.
I think they recognized that this was not the message they wanted and I commend them for changing their position, Weiner said in a telephone interview.
Another Israeli player, 45th-ranked Shahar Peer, four days ago was denied a visa to take part in this weeks womens tournament in the Gulf emirate of Dubai. Ram is scheduled to play there in an ATP Tour event starting Feb. 23.
Weiner said he had made it clear with the UAE Ambassador in the past few days that the exclusion of Peer was a setback for a nation that had made commendable efforts to foster understanding and tolerance.
The ATP World Tour couldnt immediately be reached for comment today. Clearly this is an opportunity for Dubai to make the right decision, Kris Dent, a London-based spokesman for the mens tennis tour, said yesterday.
    Lucrative Tournament
Peer was denied an entry visa that would have let her play in the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships. The $2 million tournament, one of the most lucrative on the womens WTA Tour outside of the Grand Slams, includes all top 10 players.
WTA head Larry Scott today said the tour had been given assurances from the highest authorities in Dubai that an Israeli player would be granted a visa. The WTA will consider canceling next years event if Ram is denied a visa, Scott said in an interview.
Last year, Peer received a visa from Qatar to participate in a tournament in Doha, the first Israeli to do so.
Her exclusion from this weeks event was condemned by the WTA and fellow players including five-time Wimbledon champion Venus Williams. The California-based Tennis Channel decided not to broadcast the tournament in protest. The Wall Street Journal Europe dropped its sponsorship of the tournament, saying the decision to ban Peer runs counter to the Journals editorial direction.
The World Jewish Congress today called for suspension of all sporting events in the UAE until Israeli participants are admitted. The response of the womens and mens tours to the exclusion of Peer had been faint-hearted, and they should have canceled the event immediately, Ronald Lauder, the groups president, said in an e-mailed statement.
    No Relations
Israel and the UAE have no diplomatic relations and Israelis are normally denied entry there unless they hold citizenship in other countries.
Anti-Israeli protests before the start of a match Peer played against Elena Dementieva of Russia last month at an event in Auckland had raised concern about her wellbeing in Dubai, local organizers said.
Peers attendance would have antagonized our fans who have watched live television coverage of recent attacks in Gaza, Salah Tahlak, the director of the Dubai event, said yesterday.
In Sweden, security officials are requiring Israels Davis Cup first-round home match in Malmo next month to be played behind closed doors, the International Tennis Federation said in an e-mailed statement today.
The world governing body called the decision very unfortunate because it denies tennis fans in Sweden the opportunity to watch these elite teams compete in the competition. It said it was not in the long-term interests of the Davis Cup.
The UAE, and Dubai in particular, has succeeded in putting themselves forward as the moderate, welcoming face of the Arab world, Weiner said in an interview. This was an unfortunate step back from that, and I think they knew it.

;D ;D I'm the one that can't keep up, huh? You keep slinging the same crap at me and for some odd reason you won't listen up to the facts. I swear to God its like I'm talking to a wall.
I dont even know what you said over here
    ???
So what you're saying is "I understand that you want them to play....but it dosn't matter because you have a bias towards the nation". What are we fighting about then if we both agree that they should play? If we both agree that they should play, then whats the problem? And I keep bringing the South Africa point up because that was the only point I was trying to make and the only thing that runs through your head is: "My spidey sense is tingling. Chuck...hates....Israelis."(I've mentioned this more than once already, and you still keep bringing it up. And I'm the one thats not keeping up ;D :D ;D)
And what impression have you read from my posts? For the love of God, I don't have a problem with Israelis. Its just the government, thats all.

And I'm the one that can't keep up? Buahahahaha

Yesss, not only am I a Jew Hater, I'm also the angry black guy. I can't wait to tell mom about this.
Probably the most funniest thing about all of this(and its been very funny) is that oop has been accusing me of being biased, when 'yab put up a pic, in which he was obviously trying to offend a certain demographic, and he goes riiight by the oop bias radar.
It's all good though. I still love you all. Staying on the facts is little tough for you, but no one's perfect.
