I sure am glad that there are no politics on the board. It might be divisive. ::)

No politics, except for the multiple-daily dogpiles on the M.N.

Thoughts on Ebola from a Bioethicist. I especially like #10, as I know how this one goes.

We really don't need a sitter, you know. Not even Star Man, who uses the C-word for shock. This has been mostly civil.
I get that part of the playbook here is all independents/conservatives are nasty haters, but note of the two of us I'm the one who cares about this sht not spreading here.
Maybe after tomorrow's 10 a.m. tee time followed by a fund-raiser and the presidential nap we'll be on more solid footing.
    There is that hope.

Maybe I missed this, but why aren't you criticizing the Republicans in Congress stalling the approval of the new Surgeon General with the same fervor? Surely, filling that position would be of importance to prevent the spread of Ebola you are so fearful of.

I get fidgety when the government tells me there's nothing to worry about, yes, I do confess.
And what fkin power does a surgeon general have that a "transformative" POTUS does not?

Yep. Don't need a surgeon general. That's what I thought.

Who violates the ban on politics, dozens of goddamn times every goddamn day, with no ultimate consequences?

It's all part of the conspiracy. Do some Googling.

To be fair, Starman, you committed the first violation of the rule on this thread.

I'm assuming the mods are giving the board a great deal of latitude because this is an important topic, which is a wise decision. Are Boom and fart boy abusing the hell out of that latitude? Absolutely. But this time it is probably best just to ignore it and stay on topic and hope the two of them get the message for once.
