Eric Wilbur is from Mass. And might very well be a fanboy.

    But he's not young.

I guess just as Elway's narrative completely changed since he went from 0-3 to 2-3 in Super Bowls, now there's an eagerness to rip Brady for going from 3-0 to 3-2.

Can't say I agree. He was this generation's Joe Montana: its greatest winner.

Or, in blunter terms: Oh noes! He only has three Super Bowl wins!!!!! And only five appearances!!!!!!!!

    As for Brady signature moments:

    - Everything after the Tuck Rule in that game
    - Game-winning drive in the Super Bowl against the Rams
    - Game-winning drive in the Super Bowl against the Panthers
    - The entire 2007 season (sorry he couldn't play defense on the Giants' final Super Bowl drive)
    - Returning from a season-ending ACL tear

Honestly, is greatness now defined solely by whether it looks good in slow-motion, produced by the Sabol family?

I hate the argument that "Eli has more rings than Brady the last four years." In the last season, Eli has more rings than Brady, Brees, his brother, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas and Steve Young combined. Does this mean he's better then all of them? No.
I don't think Eli played great tonight; I don't think Brady was great. I think it was a very mediocre game with a fantastic outcome. Nicks was my pick for NYG MVP; Hernandez for NE.

I hate the quarterback comparison game as it has a tendency to descend into the juvenile. But you can't find an imperfection in Montana's corpus. You just can't. Brady now has a few.

Also, I would argue the XXXVI drive was necessarily a thing of greatness. A lot of dink-and-dunk crap against a defense playing so timid and soft it was a joke.

The 'new' Belichick lasts less than a week

Eli is a better QB than Tom Brady.
    Coughlin is a better coach.
Giants fans are classier than New England's.
All the East Coast media should stop referring to Belichik as a "genius" and start recognizing him for what he is...a FRAUD who won titles by cheating.
Coughlin has now outcoached the FRAUD in two Super Bowls and the team's last four matchups.
Eli has outdueled Brady in two Super Bowls.
    And did it legitimately.

I keep waiting for the thing Belichik was supposed "to have" for the Giants. I think he absolutely made the right call at the end to concede the touchdown.
Looking at the box score and its so close all the way down the line. Even the one TO, Brady's deep pick didn't result in any points.

Brady is the Patriots and for anyone to shit on him in any format is just plain crazy. Patriot fans should wake up every morning and thank God that Brady still plays for the Pats.

Because when he is gone, that team is going to look a lot different, especially in the standings.

But it is nice to have the list remain Bradshaw and Montana, and hopefully people realize how tough it is to go to four and never lose.
