I'm slowly catching up - saw the first two episodes a couple of weeks ago and the third episode On Demand this morning. I don't know why I watch a show where I can't stand the main character.

Never heard of this until yesterday, when my son and his buds watched the first and second episodes and the last one where the boobs were revealed.
Some very funny moments but not near enough to sustain a series. The one joke gets very old very fast.
Those cans were nice, though. Real nice.

Stevie became pathetic after a while, Kenny started to develop a conscience and then lost it with the fake call back to the bigs, the series was one of those an awful wreck that you can't help but slow down and watch. I saw all 6 episodes On Demand.
Couldn't help but scratch my head at the episode 6 description on Comcast's OnDemand where it says that Kenny gets a big league offer in Miami, but in the episode he gets an offer from a Tampa Bay representative.

My wife was watching this whole series On Demand as I was reading yesterday, and she was laughing her ass off, FWIW.

Seemed to have some funny parts to it...pretty good bit where he's spontaneously getting back with his girlfriend, prematurely ejaculates then calls if off because "things are moving too fast."

Believe it or not, they're planning a second season.

Why? I mean, it was OK ... got a couple laughs out of it. But by the third episode it was clearly a one-trick pony. I'll give HBO the benefit of the doubt. They do so much other original programming that's top-notch we can let this slide. But only if we get a new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm soon.

Those cans were nice - although I'm thinking body double.

And TheHacker, Curb starts back up again in September after a two-year hiatus.

The first one started off great and then went downhill really fast.

Was that all of Season 1? If so, I doubt there will be a Season 2 unless HBO is afraid to piss off Ferrell.

Nice, indeed. And not sure on the body double question. I rewound it in the name of research ;), but could not determine for sure.

I think I've seen every episode, and haven't been too thrilled with it. Some funny moments, but if I had something better on the DVR, I'd probably skip it.

DirtyDeeds - reason I said body double is because you don't see her face. Classic body double move.

Mizzou - You obviously didn't click on that link. If you had, you would have read: "HBO have announced that Eastbound & Down will be returning for a Season 2. Production on the new episodes will begin later this year, with the debut slated for 2010."

And I'm hoping Will Ferrell does not make a reappearance; his character was horrible. I thought the show was so-so at best.

I got that, lantaur. I and others here thought the same thing. I just don't know the answer. Guess it doesn't matter much anyway. They were nice regardless.

As is Katy Mixon, though it would be a lot nicer if they were really hers.
