In the immortal words of noted financial advisor Billy Hoyle “He ain’t got shit! He ain’t got shit! He ain’t got shit!”

Sometimes principles, like not supporting a guy who wants to wreck democracy, is more important than dividends.

Tesla’s valuation is still in mega bubble territory, regardless of him having leveraged the price of the stock to Twitter.

Tesla, and a lot of other overvalued assets are losing value b/c the fed is being forced to deal (or at least pretend they are going to try) with the runaway inflation they caused. Even without them having done anything to reduce their balance sheet yet, the bond market has started wrestling control of yields away from them, and the move up in yields makes all of the overleverage that has had everyone in fantasyland -- including owners of Tesla stock -- more vulnerable. If yields keep rising, and heaven forbid get anywhere near the neutral rate, the value of Elon Musk's Tesla stock is going to drop a lot more than it has, regardless of whether he is trying to buy Twitter. What is going on right now goes way beyond that. The only thing that might save him is that they have created such a distortion this time, and the amount of batshit crazy debt fueling malinestment is so large that the world can't afford interest rates much higher than this. The U.S. government, with the way we are spending, wouldn't have been able to service its debt for the last decade, without rates being price fixed to artificially low levels. So I think his only hope is that the Fed chooses to let inflation eat up the masses (and they would like to do this if it doesn't cause riots), which means that Elon Musk can stay a little wealthier.

If Snoop named Dre CEO, I'd be totally behind it.

Dr. Dre's probably worth 10x what Snoop is. He probably doesn't want to work for him.
