Not to take Elon’s side, but getting rid of the ability to block ad accounts seems fine by me.

 

It's not just ad accounts. And also, what's to stop the Illinois Nazi Party official account from taking out ads?

 

I hate Illinois Nazis.

 

If the accounts passed some sort of standards and controls (which may be unrealistic here) that would eliminate that issue.

 

Not being able to block will officially be the end for me. The only thing I really do on there anymore. I haven't tweeted, er "X'd" in months.
