Elon Musk takes over Twitter

All it did for me was reinforce my "clueless rich dork" view of him. Guys doing a magazine dump with a Barrett. A Barrett which does not have a scope on it. Effin' moron.

 

A Barrett is anti-vehicle sniper rifle. It’s designed to take out trucks and, if need be, people at 1,000 yards or more. Firing it from the hip is idiotic.

 

It needs a big ol' honking scope. You fire it prone, using the built in bipod and monopod to stabilize it. You don't hip fire it playing Rambo if you have the first clue. Also, no eye protection is stupid.

The three texts were sent on April 4, 2022. In the nearly 18 months since then, many of the decisions Musk made after he bought Twitter appear to have closely followed that road map, up to and including his ongoing attacks against the Anti-Defamation League, a nonprofit organization founded by Jewish Americans to counter discrimination.

The text messages described a series of actions Musk should take after he gained full control of the social media platform: “Step 1: Blame the platform for its users; Step 2: Coordinated pressure campaign; Step 3: Exodus of the Bluechecks; Step 4: Deplatforming.”

The conspiracy theory that he bought it to destroy it seems every so slightly possible at this point.

 

Seemed ridiculous.

Now it seems like one of the only explanations that makes sense.

I think he (on behalf of his supporter nation states) bought it primarily to gain access to all DM data, texts, identifiers, etc.
