Thought about saying Al Sharpton, but the BLM organization seemed more recent.

The Rev. Al actually draws a legit paycheck from MSNBC these days.

He's gone legit, and was always a little more subtle with his hustling. The people running BLM were straight up thieves and extortionists.

Sourcing? This is the first I heard that.

Not everyone advocating for the Black community is Rachel Dolezal.

Also I can one-up you with James O’Keefe.

You seriously haven't heard of this? There has been a lot of reporting on their shady finances once the big money started rolling in in 2020.
You can generously say that it's the people running the organization and not the rank and file who believe in the cause -- the latter has brought some lawsuits against the former on these things -- but the folks at the top of the national BLM organization have definitely made some decisions that sure seemed to benefit themselves more than BLM itself.

Perhaps someone got through to Elmo that it was a farcical notion that would’ve been laughed out of court.

Of course, that would require him to develop some self awareness.

He’s like Trump. Make a public threat, get your fanbois riled up and then no one remembers if you followed through. In fact, you can declare victory and the cult members won’t question you.

Musk gets a bunch of bots and incels to reply “thank you for upholding free speech” and the like, which is what keeps him going through his miserable existence.

I see Musk did file the lawsuit. Can we just speed up to the discovery phase when he drops it?
