Some of the terms of the Twitter deal with Musk are coming out.

There is a $1 billion termination fee if either side backs out.

What is interesting is that the buyout is @ 54.20 but the stock is trading below $50 because of the Elon Musk bullshit factor.

On top of that, Tesla stock got clubbed today because of the realization that anyone who owns it is now leveraged to him overpaying for Twitter, so in effect his purchase price of $44 billion for Twitter has risen to more than $60 billion as of this moment in time.

I really wish I understood this stuff.
I should ask questions, but they'll further underscore my ignorance.

"Did you see this, Ed? Elon University, an excellent school down in North Carolina, saw a huge drop in the number of applications they received this year. Turns out a lot of people assumed some creepy techbro bought the college."

It's like Jeep Wrangler buyers, Consumer Reports notes that no cars have a correlation of terrible ratings-to-high owner satisfaction marks like Jeeps. When you want one, you get one, f*ck all rational thinking.

See, this doesn't make me mad. It doesn't give me grave concerns about the future of America.

It just makes me go LOL.
