    And since Christmas and New Year's Day are always the same day of the week, if you know one you already know the other. That's a convenient way to remember.

    But shit if I could tell you what date Easter ever falls on. I'm just not smart enough to track that one without help, other than knowing it's always a Sunday.

    Tattoo parlors aren't sanctioned, either. But that's considered an extra benefit.

    In Canada, it's always on a Monday. Makes for a nice three-day weekend for those who don't actually work weekends.

    Um, there was a CFL doubleheader and an NFL game. Not enough for ya? There might a game of two-hand touch down at the park as well.

    Which is my point.

    Kids get in trouble for playing in unauthorized pickup basketball games, but bowl games are, for some reason (which we know what that is), legal.

    Because I value what sanity I have left..... I pledge not to shop on Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving or pretty much the entire month of December (unless it's online).

    You realize I didn't create this, right?

    It was posted for the purposes of discussion. It does not necessarily reflect my own personal views. (Though, there's no chance in hell I'm shopping on Thanksgiving.)
